WTW managing director moves to aerospace broker Piiq

Aerospace re/insurance broker Piiq Risk Partners has hired Willis Towers Watson's Neil Maynard as senior partner, based in London.

Maynard has spent more than 25 years at Willis Towers Watson, where he most recently held the role of managing director, working predominantly on North American business and other large global accounts.

At Piiq, he will have wide ranging responsibilities across airline, aerospace and large aviation clients and will form an important part of the leadership team.

Maynard will join the business next year. He will report to Marcel Chad, president of Piiq, who said: “Neil is a fantastic addition to our expanding global team. His wealth of experience and knowledge of the global insurance market makes him an invaluable asset as we continue to build up Piiq’s ambitious platform.

"Our industry is facing unprecedented challenges and we are committed to supplying our clients with innovative solutions to the issues they face. Bringing in top-tier talent such as Neil, who is widely respected by his clients and peers, is a key part of those efforts.”
