Perils raises Central Europe, Italy flood losses to over €2bn

The second insurance industry loss estimate for the Central Europe and Italy floods, which occurred between September 14–20, 2024, has increased to €2.08 billion, according to Zurich-based natural catastrophe tracker, Perils.
