Premiums to slide again as 2026 FI insurance market favours buyers

The financial institutions (FI) insurance market looks set to stay a “strong buyer’s market” in 2026, with abundant capacity, fierce competition, and average premium drops of 7.5%, according to Gallagher Specialty.
