Property rates slide; reinsurers exceed expectations at mid-year renewals: Guy Carpenter

Global property catastrophe reinsurance risk-adjusted rates moderated or declined during the mid-year renewals, with some higher layers seeing reductions of 10% or more for loss-free accounts even as demand increased at the mid-year renewals 2024, according to broker Guy Carpenter.
