Public company D&O softening moderates Q2, quivers in excess layers

The softening in public company directors’ & officers’ (D&O) insurance continued to moderate through the second quarter, with one broker-generated pricing index suggesting average pricing for mature firms fell 5% year on year in Q2 to hit levels last seen in 2019.
