Pure-play cat bond funds hold momentum, push YTD gain to 7%

Pure-play cat bond investment funds held on to their newfound momentum in September, adding nearly 1.4% in the four weeks through September 26 to push their YTD gains above the 7% mark, after a first half hampered by California wildfires, a weekly index of bond fund pricing compiled by Plenum Investments has shown.
