Pure play cat bond funds start 2026 with gains, up 0.5% in January

Pure-play cat bond investment funds extended an over three year rally into 2026, adding another 0.5% to valuations in January after closing off 2025 with a roughly 10% gain, a weekly index of bond fund pricing compiled by Plenum Investments has shown.
