TigerRisk poaches senior legal adviser from Aon

Reinsurance broker TigerRisk Partners has poached one of Aon’s most senior legal advisers and appointed him general counsel and a partner in the firm.

Daniel “Tad” Eldredge was previously chief counsel, corporate and Americas, at Aon. He also served on Aon’s global executive committee for its Reinsurance Solutions global business and provided legal support and counsel to Aon Securities.

He began his insurance industry career as assistant vice president and associate general counsel at EW Blanch. With the acquisition of Blanch, Eldredge was named vice president & associate general counsel at Benfield.

“Mr. Eldredge is one of the insurance industry’s foremost legal practitioners,” said Rob Bredahl, President of TigerRisk. “His wealth of knowledge and experience will be invaluable as TigerRisk continues to grow, innovate and deliver best-in-class client service.”

Eldredge added: “I have followed TigerRisk since its founding. The company’s exceptional leaders, team talent, creativity and industry connectivity together make for a unique organization to drive capital advisory and transaction services to clients and the industry in general.

“TigerRisk holds a unique advisory role given their independence in a period of industry consolidation. I look forward to joining an organization that prides itself on its culture of excellence and attention to client needs and innovation.”
