Reinsurance’s liquidity problem is structural: Howden

Howden’s latest report opens with a pointed observation: reinsurance remains one of the few major capital markets where liquidity is structurally constrained rather than technologically limited. This, it proposes, could be tackled, freeing capital and improving underwriting profitability, with a secondary market.
