RenaissanceRe likes property cat in 2026 to stave off top line slide

RenaissanceRe found enough growth opportunities at the 1/1 property cat renewals and sees enough lingering mid-year to hold premium decline in the segment to a mid-single digit pace in 2026, CEO Kevin O'Donnell has indicated.
