RenaissanceRe manages Q1 net inflows, but AuM down after cats

Reinsurance and ILS group RenaissanceRe raised $462 million in fresh capital during the first quarter, but still ended Q1 with notable decline in assets under management in key ILS units following both investor outflows and the California fire losses, which sank the group's Q1 financial results.
