RenaissanceRe starts 2026 on ILS outflows; 2025 hit by cat bond rejig

Reinsurance and ILS group RenaissanceRe ended 2025 with fractional net outflows on its stable of ILS vehicles, unable to overcome investor exits during a rejigging of its cat bond offer, then suffered a heavy jolt of outflows to start the new year, the group’s latest earnings release has indicated.
