Rising reinsurer capital set to add resilience again in ’24: AM Best

The rebuild of dedicated reinsurance capital, driven by the ongoing hard market and asset gains, has put the sector on track to end 2024 with a second year of improved resiliency, albeit still shy of levels seen in 2021, analysts at AM Best said of risk-adjusted capitalisation metrics underpinning elements of their rating view.
