AM Best webinar addresses risk management as driver of better insurance underwriting

AM Best will host a complimentary webinar, titled “How Active Risk Management Drives Better Insurance Underwriting,” sponsored by LexisNexis Risk Solutions, on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 2:00 pm (EDT).

It will address how to keep up with the changes in the risk level of policyholders, especially as the renewal process begins, demonstrating that an active risk management program is the best way to stay on top of changing risks and be ready to address potential loss ratio and premium leakage.

In this one-hour webinar, a panel of insurance experts and data scientists will explore best practices, types of changes to start looking for, and the data that enables understanding of the potential problems before they arise.

Panelists include Ian Griffin, director, product management, LexisNexis Risk Solutions; and James Handley, manager, data science II, LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
