Sompo remains pro-growth after Aspen, may return to M&A pursuits

Sompo's pending purchase of Aspen need not cut the Japanese group's growth plans, with sufficient capital on hand to hold the pace of growth near-term and return to M&A once Aspen is comfortably in the group, top officials at Sompo have told markets.
