Space coverage stabilises after losses; rate softening possible

The space and satellite insurance markets may be able to settle down in 2025, even into a mild rate softening, after digesting a roughly $2 billion spate of losses in late 2023 and early 2024, analysts at US insurance brokerage firm Gallagher have said in their latest aviation sector market report.
