Stormy weather: insurers brace for another brutal year of cat losses

The global insurance industry is bracing for another year of $100 billion-plus natural catastrophe losses, with devastating wildfires and record-breaking storm activity already pushing 2025 into dangerous territory, according to analysts at Willis, part of global broker WTW.
