Swiss Re dumps rump primary aviation in CorSo, bolsters reinsurance

Swiss Re will kill off the rump primary aviation underwriting left after a 2019 downsizing and move the personnel and expertise to its reinsurance desk, one of several such possible shifts between primary and reinsurance to be mulled within the group, CEO Andreas Berger  has said.
