Texas TWIA nears first rate surplus in decades; here’s what changed
Texas residual windstorm insurer TWIA is on track to be more than rate adequate for the first time in perhaps decades, possibly 9% over the adequacy threshold in residential policies in 2027 and 4% in commercial, the group’s annual rate adequacy study has indicated.
