Travelers says tariff impacts can be limited and manageable

US P&C carrier Travelers could sneak through an era of trade war tariffs with a sufficiently minimal hit to claims costs to hold within the group’s original loss picks, thanks both to the group's business mix and to mitigation steps likely throughout the value chain, CEO Alan Schnitzer has suggested.
