Trump’s maritime reinsurance facility expands to $40bn

The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) has expanded its maritime reinsurance plan to $40 billion, with Chubb and six additional American insurance partners adding $20 billion in capacity to support maritime trade through the Strait of Hormuz.
