TWIA ties it down: closes $6.2bn 1.6 tower with final $1.2bn treaties

The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA), the state’s residual insurer for hurricane risks, filled out its $6.227 billion funding tower during the 2025 mid-year renewals, including $1.177 billion in single-season traditional reinsurance closed for the 1.6.
