UK enters tariff era with auto rates falling, claims inflation muted

UK motor insurance policy deflation continued to deepen into the early months of 2025 as the industry faced off against the threat of trade war-fuelled inflation, while key claims cost categories except for auto repair and hospital costs have held low single digit.
