US homeowners insurers face insufficient ROEs despite rate hikes: Aon

US homeowners insurers are expected to earn “meagre” returns on equity (ROEs) that fall short of covering underlying risks, despite significant rate hikes achieved by carriers in 2023/2024, according to Aon’s latest homeowners ROE market reading.
