US insurance job rout deepens as broker layoffs join the count

The US insurance sector continued to shed jobs through end-June, with revised April/May figures down enough to render the single worst half year in history for insurance job counts, the latest data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has indicated.
