US personal lines bounce back on rate gains, Moody’s ups outlook

US P&C personal lines have dug themselves out of a hole, increasing pricing “significantly” to trim the gap to runaway claims inflation, high cat losses and surging reinsurance costs, analysts at Moody's have said in raising the segment outlook from negative to stable.
