US property rates fall to 22.5% H1; terms and cover broaden: Alliant

The ongoing flood of capacity into the US property insurance market took rates down as much as 22.5% in H1 for the best cat exposures and left even the worst cat accounts within arm’s reach or prior year rate, specialist brokerage Alliant said in its first half market report.
