US surplus lines grew 10% in H1 ’24, property submissions slow
Surplus lines premium in major US jurisdictions rose 10.1% year on year in the first half of 2024, including a $1 billion or 12.3% increase from the nation’s largest E&S market of Florida, a dataset from 15 US stamping offices compiled by the insurance industry lobby group WSIA indicated.
