Venezuelan exposures look small, mask huge spillover risks across lines

Military intervention in Venezuela and interdictions on shipping could trigger a cavalcade of “regional spillover effects” to bring volatile pricing, tightening coverage terms and crimps on capacity across a swathe of re/insurance lines, analysts at Morningstar have declared in the wake of recent US military headlines.
