War risk insurers push back on landmark £3.4bn UK ruling over seized aircraft

War risk insurers are seeking to overturn a landmark UK court ruling that could leave them with more than £3.4 billion in liabilities linked to aircraft seized in Russia — after the court ruled they, rather than general all-risk insurers, are on the hook to repay aircraft lessors.
