Weather disasters increasingly eroding prosperity in major economies, Munich Re warns

Weather catastrophes are consuming a growing share of economic output across many of the world’s largest industrialised countries, with losses today significantly higher than in the 1980s, Munich Re said in a study released ahead of the COP 30 climate summit in Brazil.
