White Mountains rejigs Ark support: own capital out, quota share in

White Mountains has begun pulling its funding from the ILS sidecar vehicle it uses to support its insurance unit Ark, with the group reloading its Outrigger Re ILS vehicle in 2026 on just $70 million of unaffiliated third-party capital as Ark shifts towards support from traditional quota-share reinsurance.
