In Bermuda’s re/insurance sector, the conversation around diversity and inclusion has moved from a side note to a strategic priority. Yet, when we look at the numbers, progress is slower than hoped. According to Deloitte’s 2024 ‘Women in the Boardroom’ report, women hold just 23.6% of board seats across Bermuda. While the industry has made strides, the top tiers of leadership remain disproportionately male.
