With US flows threatened, Lloyd’s loses patience for tag-along syndicates

Lloyd’s may be under threat from the rising optionality for the key US placements that have driven its position and underpin its book, forcing a warning from the chief of market performance Rachel Turk (pictured) that any syndicate that’s not a price-making value-added magnet for flows, may very well be part of the problem. It’s a problem for incumbents and wannabes alike.
