WTW plucks roaming talent from McGill for real-estate build-out
Global insurance brokerage WTW nabbed talent from McGill & Partners with the hopes of super charging its real estate portfolio in North America.
Tyson Stevenson becomes managing director of real estate sales management in WTW's corporate risk and broking segment in North America, called on for “significantly growing” the real estate portfolio in 2024 and beyond.
Stevenson arrives at WTW from McGill and Partners, the latest stop on a career spanning two decades at names including NFP, USI Insurance, JLT Specialty, Aon, Marsh and Liberty Mutual. WTW credits him with expertise in MGA capacity structuring, transaction liability for M&A, ESOP trustee E&O, D&O/GPL, cyber/E&O, complex property placements, and catastrophe modelling.
Mike Chang, head of corporate risk and broking for WTW in North America, commented: “Tyson brings unique industry insight, extensive client experience, and specialized industry vertical expertise with a record of success. His ability to optimize client risk strategies based on proven tactics and insights will contribute to the growing success of our Real Estate, Hospitality, and Leisure industry division, while also contributing to the achievement of CRB North American objectives.”
