AI doubles its bite as US SCA settlements eye $3.6bn-plus

AI-related allegations doubled their share of US securities class action (SCA) filings in the first half of 2026, while total settlement dollars are on track to meet or exceed 2025’s $3.6 billion payout, Gallagher has said.
