Allstate’s cat losses pile up after California wildfires

US retail P&C insurer Allstate added $92 million in net catastrophe losses in February, taking its year-to-date tally to $1.17 billion following a heavy hit from California wildfires in January. Mark the after-tax impact at $73 million in February and $922 million YTD.
