Ariel-led Lloyd’s consortium to up capacity and scope
The Ariel Re-led Lloyd’s consortium of syndicates offering Lloyd’s security to quote and write US emerging products is set to increase capacity and widen its scope.
From January 1, 2015, the consortium, named The Lutine Alternative, will widen its scope to include non-US business.
In an overview of the 2015 structure, the consortium said that minimum capacity would be $10 million per any one programme and maximum capacity would be $100 million per any one programme for a duration of up to 24 months.
Ariel Re launched the consortium in 2014, which consists of six Lloyd’s syndicates offering up to $75 million capacity.
