Berkshire Hathaway unveils new head of multinational
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has made an internal promotion for its multinational team.
The previous vice president of multinational, Amy Bowman has been promoted to head of multinational after 10 years with the company.
Bowman has more than 20 years of experience as an attorney and insurance executive. She joined BHSI in 2014 as counsel for executive and professional, healthcare and small commercial business. She later took on the role of assistant vice president of transactional liability, where she established and grew BHSI’s transactional liability business in the US, said the company. She also contributed to establishing and growing BHSI’s multinational network as assistant vice president, then vice president of multinational.
"BHSI currently provides multinational programs and services in 178 countries around the world. Amy played a pivotal role in building our strong global network with likeminded partners who share our commitment to excellence,” said Hilary Browne, deputy global chief underwriting officer, BHSI. “She is the perfect individual to lead our multinational business, and our multinational team, to the next level.”
