CEA cuts 2025 reinsurance budget 17% as exposures shrink, rates ease

The California Earthquake Authority (CEA), billing itself as the United State’s single largest reinsurance buyer, will seek to budget $515 million for its 2025 risk transfer program, down 17% from the revised 2024 budget figures.
