CrowdStrike could be biggest cyber loss event, to hit corporate carriers hardest

The Crowdstrike-driven global IT outage that started on July 19 could become the largest “single-insured loss event” in the cyber insurance industry in the past 20 years, with the hardest hit expected on carriers with large corporate exposures, a cyber risk analytics specialist has warned.
