Dearth of cat claims drops Mapfre Re CoR to 96.8%

Mapfre Re, which includes the Spanish re/insurer’s reinsurance and global risks businesses, improved its combined ratio to 96.8% in Q1, due to the absence of significant claims apart from southern Europe storms.
