Dramatic spike in marine claims, P&I clubs head for losses

The majority of protection and indemnity (P&I) clubs globally will report underwriting losses in the fiscal year running through end-February as claims levels returned in force, led by the Baltimore Bridge incident, after two years of benign experience, analysts at S&P told an online seminar.
