Florida’s Citizens seeks $2.9bn at mid-year renewals in bulkier tower

Florida’s insurer of last resort Citizens will be in the market for $2.94 billion in risk transfer for its 2025 tower, part and parcel to a programme which only has to stretch to the $12.86 billion mark for the shrinking residual carrier.
