
Foreign ventures save Japanese insurers from home market woes: Fitch
Strong and rising earnings from the global operations of Japan’s top three non-life insurers - Tokio Marine, MS&AD and Sompo – did the trick in overcoming the weakness apparent in the home market, especially in auto lines, analysts at the Fitch ratings agency said of earnings in the fiscal year just ended.
