Global reinsurers' ROEs to outpace capital costs, hit 5-year high: AM Best

Global reinsurers' returns on equity (ROEs) are expected to exceed the cost of capital over the medium term after years of underperformance, according to rating agency AM Best. This should stall any softening of rates, though any further hardening is unlikely.
