InsurTech Impact 25 report lists players that will help insurers succeed in digital decade

Cloud Insurance, Cover Genius, Dead Happy, Fintech OS, Human API, Planck and Re:infer are among the 25 insurtech companies listed in the 2021  InsurTech Impact 25 report, the report from Oxbow Partners that lists 25 technology-led businesses that it believes are well placed to have an impact on the industry and help insurers succeed in the “digital decade”.

The report is the result of six months reviewing over 150 companies to select this year’s members. Members span the value chain and cover non-life, health and life insurance, personal lines and commercial. There is no direct or indirect fee for membership.

Oxbow Partners said it deliberately chosen companies at different stages of their life and some have proven business models whilst others are still exploring. Members from previous years are not eligible.

The report also covers various hot topics including the impact of COVID-19, embedded insurance and ecosystems, and how insurers can use InsurTech partners to improve their operational and technical processes.

Chris Sandilands, Partner at Oxbow Partners said: “The InsurTech landscape is maturing but is as complicated as ever for our clients to navigate. We are excited about the progress being made by many of our previous and current members, and this points to the importance of executives and investors spotting and working with the right technology partners. We hope that this report, and the Magellan insurance technology vendor platform which underpins it, give readers some navigational support.”
