A RESET but no 2023 class of reinsurers: Hannover Re CEO

Reinsurance RESET, the main title and theme of the 2023 Singapore International Reinsurance Conference, is very accurate in the wake of what has been an eventful couple of years for the industry, Jean-Jacques Henchoz (pictured), chief executive of Hannover Re, acknowledged.

However, he added, the current hard market will not lead to a new class of reinsurance companies, due to many investors feeling the fatigue of many years of losses.
