Aon appoints Neville Weston as vice chairman of reinsurance solutions in Bermuda

Re/insurance broker Aon has appointed Neville Weston as vice chairman of reinsurance solutions business in Bermuda.

Weston joins from Aeolus where he was a partner and senior underwriter for the property catastrophe fund. Prior to that, he was with Guy Carpenter where he managed the casualty and professional liability broking operations in Bermuda.

In his new role, Weston will be responsible for specialty lines. He will report into Tony Fox, chairman of Aon’s reinsurance solutions in Bermuda.

Nick Frankland, UK CEO of Aon’s reinsurance solutions business, commented: “Neville’s experience in specialty lines, property catastrophe treaty, industry loss warranty and retrocession contracts will further strengthen the team on the island as we explore growth opportunities for our clients.”
