Aon appoints new head of treaty for Australia and New Zealand

Global re/insurance broker  Aon has appointed a new head of treaty for Australia and New Zealand.

Paul Grasso (pictured) has been named Reinsurance Solutions’ head of treaty Australia and New Zealand. He has been with the company for more than 15 years, most recently as head of property in Australia.

He also briefly worked as a treaty underwriter at Hannover Re in 2016-17.

In his new role, Grasso will support clients to optimise their capital as the reinsurance market finds itself on a more sustainable footing, Aon said in a statement.
